Within this role, The overall organisation and management of onsite activities and tasks associated with the busbar installation packages.

What kind of work will you be doing?
Key Areas of Responsibility
Co-ordinate, Plan and Manage Resources - Equipment, Materials, Direct operatives, and Sub Contractors.
Ensure the effective use of labour resources on site, monitor, and manage timekeeping and productivity, ensure good clear communication with sub-contractors and operatives
Manage and organise the site team to meet all project requirements and deadlines to the satisfaction of our clients.
Ensure that all Health & Safety and Quality standards are always adhered to.
Proactively lead and participate in the delivery and management of the reporting systems including Cost control, Progress, Health & Safety, Quality, Environmental issues ensuring compliance to company and customer standards.
Plan, manage, and monitor progress against our standards and procedures whist maintaining and promoting best practice.
Promote the business in all interactions and communications with customers

Provide a planned and proactive approach to work demonstrating organisational skills, effective communication, and teambuilding
Using our processes and systems to achieve and underpin a healthy positive culture of high standards of delivery and continuous development
Work to agreed standards and processes set by clients and aim to be defect free at the end of each project
Complete our works within the agreed timescale and innovate where we can, to improve our standards and productivity to do all we do right first time.
Compile and issue regular project progress reports, detailing progress, risk, supply chain performance, commercial position etc.
Proactively go the extra mile to be as helpful and trouble free to clients and their representatives.
Be prepared to travel to project locations throughout Ireland, UK and Europe as required.
Watch out for and bring out the best for our people and supply chain, making the tasks as enjoyable and educational as we can along the way.
Complete the projects/ tasks within or better than the forecasted timescales taking care to avoid surprises.
Assume overall responsibility of the successful delivery of the works package you’ve been assigned.
Ensure that necessary consideration is given always to the requirements of the Company Safety Policy and safe methods of working as per RAMS, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) etc.
Identify safety training needs for all operatives, and agency workers and sub-contractors within your control
Carry out and enforce PPE compliance checks where relevant
Report and assist with the investigation of accidents, dangerous occurrences and near misses.
Record and communicate details of site changes, adjustments, or variations to ensure commercial capture or additional time allowance as required.
Coordinate and monitor the implementation of any remedial action arising out of safety or quality inspections, accident investigations or risk assessments.
Attend and participate in H&S, Quality and Progress meetings where required
Complete Quality & H&S Reports, ITP inspections, and accident report forms when required
Assisting in the training, mentoring, and coaching of team members; providing leadership and motivating your team to meet their project goals
Assisting in process improvement, offering guidance and support in any procedure developments, as and when required
Take the lead in troubleshooting and problem-solving site issues to ensure smooth delivery of projects.
Assist in the development and building of the site installation team.
Develop a quality culture of ‘zero tolerance’ within your team by ensuring
compliance with all company procedures and processes
