Responsibilities:
* Prepare relevant journal entries to support the financial statement process in line with US GAAP and corporate financial policies.
* Account reconciliations to facilitate balance sheet valuation.
* Detailed margin variance analysis and investigate differences.
* Contribute to the monthly close, ensuring completion of accounts for your area, including submissions to head office.
* Detailed calculations of product costings.
* Evaluate and ensure adherence to corporate policies, with consistency and standardization of cost accounting practices.
* Play a key role in process improvement projects and continuous improvement within the finance function.
* Provide detailed commentary, modeling, and analysis on customer pricing.
* Collaborate as a business partner with functions across the site.
* Deliver senior management with timely and comprehensive reporting of income statements and balance sheets to provide risk and commentary.
* Prepare statutory accounts, regulatory returns, and revenue statements for final review.
* Liaise with tax teams on transfer pricing matters.
* Work with external and internal auditors as required.
* Contribute to other commercial and financial projects as necessary.
Requirements:
* Qualified accountant (ACCA/CIMA/ACA) with 5+ years' experience in cost accounting.
* SAP and IFRS experience is advantageous.
* Self-motivated, analytical, and commercially-minded individual.
* Leadership skills, with the ability to develop teams and drive change.
