Job Summary:
Morgan McKinley are delighted to be working with a leading multinational pharmaceutical company to recruit a Senior Supply Planner. This is a permanent role based in Dublin with hybrid working options, requiring a skilled professional to manage the supply chain activities end-to-end.
This Senior Supply Planner will create short- and long-term forecasts, play an active part in new product introductions, and work to optimise supply processes, driving efficiency and effectiveness throughout the organisation.
Responsibilities
* Develop cross-site relationships and communication with Suppliers, Demand Planning, Sales, and Distribution teams.
* Manage and proactively communicate supply status and critical supply chain metrics, ensuring timely and accurate information exchange.
* Perform ad-hoc analytical analysis, recognise issues, develop plans for resolution, and implement or influence the support of key partners to aid implementation.
* Create long-term capacity and volume plans, taking into account production constraints and supply chain complexities.
* Monitor site/supply performance against Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), identifying trends and opportunities for improvement.
* Provide data to support Global Supply reviews and follow up on actions, driving continuous improvement across the organisation.
* Prepare a monthly Master Production Plan (MPS), challenging production constraints to optimise plans and drive supply chain efficiency.
* Advise on and maintain key planning parameters to optimise supply chain performance, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
* Liaise with Demand Planners to ensure an efficient flow of information between sites, supporting seamless supply chain operations.
Requirements
* 4+ years' experience in supply chain management, with a strong knowledge of Supply Planning, Master Scheduling, Forecasting, Demand Planning, and Supply Chain Operations Planning (S&OP).
* Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline, such as Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or Engineering.
* Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, including system configuration, data analysis, and process optimisation.
