Business Analyst/Project Manager Hybrid Role
Sanderson has partnered with a leading insurance company to recruit a Business Analyst/Project Manager hybrid on a 6-month contract basis.
The successful candidate will join the Transformation area, focusing on sustainability and non-financial reporting.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Identify and document processes and controls for data collection and gap closure.
* Establish processes and controls from data acquisition to internal reporting ecosystem entry.
* Document relevant processes for developing and updating qualitative disclosures.
* Evaluate business outcomes and ensure delivery in line with plans, collaborating with colleagues to define requirements for change.
* Gather, review, and analyze business and industry data, including KPIs, financial reports, and key metrics using data analytics tools.
* Assess process improvement options, including business process modeling.
* Support viability assessments, evaluating value compared to cost.
* Analyze process issues and bottlenecks to drive improvements.
* Support estimation and sizing activities.
* Identify, document, and analyze the 'As Is' landscape.
* Consider the entire business system (Processes, People, Organisation, and IT).
* Collaborate with the solution architect to connect requirements to technical design.
* Project Manager Responsibilities:
o Participate in, lead, and contribute to relevant business, project, and steering committee meetings.
o Define project scope and business case.
o Establish appropriate project governance and adhere to change methodologies.
o Own the delivery plan, issues, and risks.
o Manage project resourcing and costs.
o Own and manage QA plan and business deployment plan.
o Report change initiatives status to senior management.
Requirements:
* Experience in reporting processes and governance.
* Knowledge and active interest in sustainability strategy and reporting in ESG/CSRD areas.
* Proven Business Analyst experience, focusing on gathering business requirements from Product owners and stakeholders.
* Previous experience working within the Life Insurance industry and medium to large-scale assignments.
* Good knowledge of and track record working on business requirements for projects related to sustainability, IT development, and regulatory change.
* Familiarity with industry technology systems to gather data and problem-solve.
* Experience testing and mapping various business processes and protocols.
* Bachelor's Degree in an appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience.
* Experience with project management software tools, e.g., Planview or equivalent.
