Job Summary: We are seeking a results-oriented Senior Global Strategy Engineer to drive the development, implementation and delivery of enterprise data centers strategies through the use of AWS infrastructure builds. This role requires strong leadership skills, creative engineering, and a consistent track record of delivery.
The ideal candidate will have experience in data center design, planning, and operation, as well as proficiency in building codes, regulations, and standards. They will be able to work on concurrent projects in multiple geographical regions and collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure design requirements are considered.
Key Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders during the due diligence phase to oversee the process and ensure design requirements are considered.
* Collaborate with internal teams to gather data to ensure pre-requisites for start of design stage are met.
* Lead the predesign phase and ensure design ready deliverables are handed over to the design team.
* Analyze major intercepts impact to site plans and strategy.
* In conjunction with the Energy Team, work with International Utilities to understand HV/MV substation design and impacts to assess risk and impacts on our builds.
* Provide engineering design decisions to the planning team for strategic planning and region selection.
* Collaborate with other disciplines such as mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, architects to assess how our various products can be deployed in that region.

Minimum Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Environmental Engineering.
* 8+ years of experience with industrial/commercial design or experience directly related to data center infrastructure and data center planning.
* Proficient with AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, Navisworks, SketchUp, and MS Office Suite.
* Proficiency in building codes, regulations, and standards including Local and international standards.
