Reporting to the Sales Director, you will be responsible for driving profitable growth, exceeding sales targets, and leading a team of Business Development Representatives. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a significant impact within a well-loved Irish brand.Key Responsibilities:Coach and Develop the Sales Team: Inspire, coach, and mentor a team of Business Development Representatives, setting clear targets and fostering a high-performing, engaged environment.Drive Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve ambitious targets and expand the brand's presence across Ireland. Analyse market trends and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities, acquiring new customers and developing new sales channels.Key Account Management: Build and nurture strong relationships with key customers, negotiating effectively to secure profitable deals and ensure optimal product placement.Delivering and Exceeding Sales Performance: Sales planning and budgeting, monitor and analyse sales performance, taking proactive measures to achieve and exceed sales targets and profitability goals.Champion the Brand: Represent the brand with passion and professionalism in all interactions.Sales Reporting: Analysing sales data and reporting performance of key account, regions and new business development opportunities.Your Profile:We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced sales leader with:Proven Sales Leadership: Extensive experience in managing a field sales team within the Retail and Foodservice sectors, with a strong track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.Key Account Expertise: Demonstrated success in building and managing key customer relationships and negotiating effectively. Commercially astute with excellent relationship building skills.Performance Coaching: Previous experience managing job performance and coaching.Irish Market Knowledge: A comprehensive understanding of trends in the Irish retail and foodservice markets.Strategic Sales Planning: Strong strategic skills with the ability to translate plans into practical actions to deliver tangible results.Results-Oriented Mindset: A driven and results-focused individual with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.Excellent Communication & Influence Skills: The ability to articulate compelling arguments and influence stakeholders at all levels.Strong Organisational Skills: Excellent planning and organizational abilities with a keen eye for detail.Strong Team Player: Ability to work cross functionally to maximise sales opportunities.Essential Requirements:Full Irish Driving Licence.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.Location: Based in Ireland this role requires frequent travel throughout the country to drive sales and expand our market presence.
