Job Description
Our client is an established specialist in cleanroom construction, HVAC services, heat recovery and carbon emission reduction projects, as well as general mechanical and electrical services.
Supported by the wider Project Management and Engineering teams, the Project Engineer will report to the Project Manager and work on key projects, assisting in carrying them through to successful completion.
The role involves generating project schedules in conjunction with the project team, monitoring project work progress, and preparing weekly and monthly progress reports.
Additionally, the Project Engineer will be responsible for project engineering submissions, value engineering, project procurement and materials management, project build review, and interaction with co-contractors.
They will also design systems and components using AutoCAD 3D software, conduct experiments methodically, analyze data, and interpret results, test and evaluate theoretical designs, produce outline designs, and evaluate the final product's overall performance, reliability, and safety.
The ideal candidate will be organized and efficient, paying strong attention to detail and being a good communicator.
They should possess a relevant third-level qualification at level 8 or above, have a good level of knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit & BIM software systems, and at least three years of relevant work experience in a similar role.
The candidate should also have an interest in working within the Construction industry, be comfortable using Microsoft Office, and be able to generate detailed monthly reports.
