Job Summary
The Meadowlands Hotel Tralee, a proud BCorp-certified hotel, seeks a dynamic and detail-oriented Reservation & Marketing Coordinator to manage conference bookings, group reservations, digital marketing, and promotional activities. This role is ideal for someone passionate about hospitality, customer service, and sustainability, with strong organisational and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
Reservations & Conference Coordination
1. Conference Bookings: Handle inquiries, record client requirements, coordinate with departments, and ensure successful events.
2. Group Reservations: Manage group booking follow-ups, and ensure accurate allocation of rooms, special requests, and dining schedules.
3. Client Communication: Follow up with potential and confirmed clients, send booking confirmations, and build long-term relationships.
4. System Management & Reporting: Maintain accurate records in the hotel’s PMS system (HotSoft), generate reports, and ensure compliance with hotel policies.
5. Collaboration & Upselling: Work closely with the Sales and Front Office teams to enhance guest experience and promote additional services.
Marketing & Digital Presence
1. Content Creation: Assist in creating and scheduling engaging social media content.
2. Audience Engagement: Respond to online comments and messages to enhance customer relationships.
3. Marketing Campaigns: Support the development of promotional materials, email marketing, and newsletters.
4. Visual Content: Capture and organise behind-the-scenes photos/videos for marketing use.
5. Website Management: Monitor website performance, update content, and assist in Channel & Rate Management.
6. Corporate & Conference Sales Support: Assist in marketing initiatives related to corporate and conference bookings.
Qualifications and Skills
1. Previous experience in reservations, events coordination, hospitality, or marketing preferred.
2. Strong organisational and multitasking abilities with a keen eye for detail.
3. Proficiency in hotel reservation systems (HotSoft), Microsoft Office Suite, and digital marketing tools.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Familiarity with social media platforms, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or video editing software (preferred but not required).
6. A passion for sustainability and contributing to the values of a BCorp-certified organisation.
