Purpose of Role
The Operational Technology (OT) and Manufacturing Execution System (MES) Manager will play a crucial role in developing and implementing OT and MES systems within our site. This includes ensuring all manufacturing processes are efficient, reliable, and aligned with the site's strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and oversee the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of OT and MES systems.
* Collaborate with IT and production teams to integrate OT and MES with other enterprise systems.
* Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions to enhance manufacturing efficiency and productivity.
* Ensure OT and MES systems comply with industry standards, regulations, and cybersecurity protocols.
* Manage technical support and troubleshooting for OT and MES-related issues.
* Lead and manage OT and MES projects from conception through implementation and post-implementation support.
* Utilize data from OT and MES systems to generate insights and support decision-making processes.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Preference given to those with MSc/PhD.
* Minimum of 10 years hands-on experience in OT and MES management within a high-tech manufacturing environment.
* Proficiency in OT and MES systems, knowledge of PLCs, Vision Systems, ERP systems, and cybersecurity best practices (NIST).
* Strong project management skills with experience leading cross-functional teams.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with exceptional attention to detail.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills, presenting complex technical information and analysis to senior stakeholders.
* Demonstrated leadership capabilities and the ability to influence and drive change.
