Job Description
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering training programs in welding techniques, including MMA, MAG, TIG, and other methods.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement lesson plans, course materials, and presentation slides.
* Supervise trainees and ensure adherence to quality standards, safety procedures, and best practices.
* Present topics to groups or provide one-on-one coaching.
* Conduct on-the-job assessments and performance reviews for apprentices.
* Coordinate and administer company weld tests for new and existing employees.
* Provide constructive feedback to trainees.
* Perform weld tests for new procedures as needed.
Requirements:
* Able to read, interpret, and explain complex drawings.
* Highly skilled in various welding processes (MIG, MAG, TIG, MMA, Gas Welding, Submerged Arc, Orbital, Soldering, and Brazing).
* Hold a relevant welding qualification and have at least 5 years of post-qualification welding experience.
* Familiarity with AutoCAD and/or Pro-Engineer is advantageous.
* Recognized Trainer/Instructor qualification is desirable.
* Proficient in MS Office applications and excellent communication and presentation skills.
* CSWIP Inspector qualification is highly desirable.
