Junior Site Engineer Residential Housing Projects Location: Mallow, County Cork Salary: €40,000 - €50,000 per annum About the Role: We are seeking a Junior Site Engineer to join a well-established residential construction company in Mallow, County Cork.
As a Junior Site Engineer, you will assist in the day-to-day management of residential housing projects, ensuring the smooth delivery of high-quality homes.

Key Responsibilities: Assist in the day-to-day site operations, working closely with the Site Manager and Site Engineer.
Carry out site surveys, measurements, and set-out work to ensure construction follows accurate engineering plans.
Ensure all works are carried out in compliance with the projects specifications, standards, and regulations.
Provide technical support to subcontractors, ensuring correct methods and materials are used.
Assist in monitoring and ensuring the quality of work and materials on-site, ensuring compliance with quality control standards.
Contribute to the preparation and maintenance of site documentation, such as site diaries, daily reports, and safety logs.
Monitor the health and safety standards on-site, ensuring that safety practices are strictly adhered to.
Coordinate the timely delivery of materials and manage resources on-site to avoid delays.
Assist in identifying and solving technical issues on-site, ensuring the project stays on track.
Attend site meetings and liaise with the project team to provide updates on progress and resolve any concerns.
Key Requirements: A degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
Some prior experience or internship in a site-based role, ideally within residential construction, would be beneficial but not essential.
Knowledge of construction techniques, particularly within the residential housing sector, is a plus.
A strong understanding of health and safety regulations and their application on residential construction sites.
Strong organisational and communication skills with a keen attention to detail.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with knowledge of CAD or other construction-related software being advantageous.
