Financial Controller – Cork Luxury Hotel
My client, a Luxury Hotel in Cork, is seeking an experienced Finance Manager or Financial Controller to lead their finance team and manage the Hotel's financial accounts. Reporting directly to the GM & Owners, you will have responsibility for the accounting systems and procedures to ensure the efficient and effective management of the Hotel finances. The successful candidate will become a key member of the team and provide valuable business insight to the Owners & Management team.
The Candidate:
* Qualified Accountant with a minimum 5 years post qualification experience, ideally in a Hospitality background
* Strong people skills/team skills are essential for this role
* A positive, can-do attitude and dedication to going above and beyond
* Excellent communication, customer care, and people management skills
* Excellent planning, organizational, and leadership skills.
* Ability to manage multiple activities simultaneously to accomplish goals
* Oversight of all financial information
* Ability to translate data into insights and develop and deliver actions
* This role is to analyse the business, come up with creative solutions to drive profitability through management of sales, margins, and overheads
* Strong IT Skills
* Proficient with Excel & other software
* Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
* Organized and process driven
* Senior Leadership capability with experience and drive to work cross-functionally to achieve results
