Our client is a renowned Main Contractor based in Connacht, with over 60 years of continuous trading. They have established themselves as a reputable company in the market, with a strong presence in the region.
Recently, they secured a significant contract worth approximately €15 million for the Fit Out/Renovation of an existing Office Building in Galway. This project demonstrates their expertise in delivering large-scale projects, including housing, schools, hospitals, and pharma initiatives in the West and Mid-West regions.
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their close-knit team. As a key member, you will be responsible for managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders, monitoring project progress, and ensuring timely and within-budget delivery while maintaining high standards of Company EHS protocols.
Main Responsibilities:
* Manage relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
* Monitor project progress, manage risks, and resolve issues as they arise.
* Lead and manage all aspects of project delivery, from inception to completion.
* Oversee project planning, coordination, and control, ensuring on-time and within-budget delivery while upholding Company EHS standards.
Requirements:
* Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or similar or time-served experience.
* Minimum of 8 years of experience.
* Strong knowledge of construction techniques, regulations, and health & safety requirements.
* Proven track record in delivering complex residential projects on time and within budget.
* Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
* Ability to manage multiple teams across various disciplines.
* Ideal previous experience in Project Fit Out Construction Projects in Ireland or UK.
* Possession of Project Management qualifications (PMP, Degree, etc.) is a plus.
