4c is partnering with NOW Group for the appointment of a Finance Director to lead the organisations strategic financial management and compliance across two jurisdictions (Northern Ireland and Republic of Ireland) ensuring it aligns with the organisation's overall strategy. This newly created role will afford an exciting opportunity for a driven, experienced and commercially astute individual to support NOW Group as they aim to deliver on the organisations five year strategic growth plan expanding services and operations across the Island of Ireland and further afield. Reporting to the CEO, the Finance Director will be responsible for the strategic management of all revenue generated by the organisation, supporting the senior leadership team, providing assurances to the board of directors regarding NOW Group's financial health and ensuring the organisation continues to invest and expand their strategic services and social enterprise activities. This strategic position is ideal for someone with a genuine care for social justice with extensive experience of revenue diversification to secure income from a range of streams. You will also provide financial forecasting, budgeting and risk analysis to guide decision making as the organisation expands their services across the island of Ireland. In addition to the above, the successful candidate will have the following : Proven experience as Financial Controller or Finance Director or relevant role. Experience of leading and developing a high performing finance team in commercially focused organisation. Experience of preparing annual budgets (circa £7million) for a range of departments and reporting to Board. In depth knowledge of corporate financial law and risk management practices. Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods. Proficient in the use of MS Office and financial management software (for example Sage). Ability to strategise and solve problems. Excellent communication and people skills. Fully qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA or similar).
