Role Overview:
The Senior Site Engineer will be responsible for managing and overseeing the execution of construction projects, ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.
The role includes leading site operations, working closely with project managers, and ensuring the optimal use of resources to meet project goals.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead day-to-day site activities and coordinate engineering works
2. Mentor and manage junior engineers and site teams
3. Ensure compliance with safety standards, project specs, and quality control
4. Monitor site progress through regular inspections and reporting
5. Collaborate with subcontractors, clients, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery
6. Prepare method statements, risk assessments, and other site documentation
Key Requirements:
* Significant experience in large-scale construction projects
* Strong technical knowledge of construction methods and materials
* Proven leadership and team management skills
* Experience in managing subcontractors
* Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
* Strong understanding of health and safety regulations
