Fire Engineer | Fire Safety Specialist

Key Responsibilities:
1. Design and develop comprehensive fire strategies for commercial, industrial, and residential projects using TGD Part B & M, BS9999, BS 5588, FM and NFPA standards
2. Lead fire safety certification processes, including Fire Safety Certificate (FSC) and Disabled Access Certificate (DAC) applications through BCMS
3. Collaborate with architects, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure optimal fire safety solutions
4. Implement insurer requirements to minimize property damage and business interruption risks
5. Oversee BCAR compliance and conduct detailed fire inspection reports
6. Mentor graduate engineers and conduct quality assurance reviews
7. Contribute to business development through proposal writing and project scoping
Required Qualifications & Experience:
1. Experience in fire engineering and safety certification
2. Bachelor's or postgraduate degree in Fire Engineering (preferred)
3. Expert knowledge of Irish Building Regulations and international fire safety standards
4. Proven experience with FSC, DAC, BCAR, and BCMS processes
5. Strong project management and client communication skills
6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel
7. REVIT and BIM experience (desirable)
