About the Role:
Our multinational medical device manufacturing client, based in Cork, is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join their team.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Analyze processes, products, materials, or equipment specifications and performance requirements.
2. Introduce, transfer, and validate new equipment.
3. Troubleshoot new products and processes in collaboration with product development.
4. Conduct continuous improvement and yield analysis.
5. Drive improvements in process design, layout, and operational performance.
6. Collaborate with technicians, operators, and cross-functional teams to ensure business process success.
7. Contribute to New Product Introduction (NPI) development, execute new equipment introductions, and perform validations.
8. Analyze root causes using Lean tools and techniques.
9. Develop and improve process procedures.
10. Demonstrate expertise in validation techniques and associated regulatory requirements.
Qualifications and Experience:
NFQ Level 7 or 8 in a Technical Discipline (Biomedical, Mechanical, Manufacturing, etc.)
Minimum 2-5 years of experience working at an engineering level, preferably in the Medical Device industry or a highly regulated environment.
Project planning and management experience are highly desirable.
Automated manufacturing equipment experience is advantageous.
Process and equipment validation (IQ/OQ/PQ) is desirable.
