Our client is a well established Law firm based in Dublin City Centre. Due to the continued success of the business, they are now seeking a Legal Secretary and a Legal Executive to join their dynamic team.
Legal Secretary Responsibilities:
* Attending to routine Client enquiries and noting same on file.
* Recording New Enquiry Client Matters to be notified to Principal.
* Engrossing letters.
* Answering the phone and reception duties including maintaining a call log.
* Preparing briefs including photocopying and indexing.
* Lodging Court documents including stamping and filing.
* Recording all incoming emails, post and scanning same.
* Opening new files.
* Management of outgoing post including registered post.
* Arranging meetings/consultations.
* Attending to stationary orders and other general administration duties
Legal Executive Responsibilities:
* Assisting the Principal in the day to day management of file handling and Client interfacing as per file portfolio assigned.
* Monitoring assigned file portfolio by way of weekly reviews, noting deadlines, matters to be followed up.
* Monitoring all emails, incoming/outgoing correspondence as per assigned file portfolio.
* Filing and up to date maintenance of hard copy to file portfolio assigned.
* Attending Counsel in Court/Settlements/Mediations.
* Preparing Court documents, briefs for Counsel.
* Preparing letters of instruction to Counsel, Experts.
* Managing queries from Clients as per assigned file portfolio.
* Attending consultations with Clients, Counsel and Expert witnesses including note-taking.
* Preparing cases for Trial/Settlement/Mediation.
What we require:
* Previous experience in the Legal sector preferable.
* Demonstrated ability to manage multiple relationships effectively.
* Strong organisational, IT and communication skills required.
* The ability to work proactively and within a team environment.
* Strong attention to detail is essential.
* A flexible approach to work to be undertaken.
