Job Opportunity – Senior Sales/Business Development Manager:
We have an opportunity for an experienced Senior Sales/Business Development Manager to head up all aspects of sales planning, coordination, and implementation. This role will manage sales activities across Ireland, UK & Europe.
Duties:
* Perform day-to-day sales activity including lead generation, face-to-face meetings, customer visits, attendance at trade shows, and national/international sales trips.
* Managing the sales of our EPC services to existing and new customers in the Pharma, Data Centre, Renewables & Advanced Technology fields.
* Responding to Requests for Information (RFI), Requests for Quotations (RFQs) & Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and tracking their progress, relevant dates, requirements in our systems and closing out these activities.
* Meeting with customers to understand their projects and requirements to accurately build a solution that represents their specific needs.
* Maintain an up-to-date database on clients.
* Working across all functions to properly quote and present our solution and services.
* Manage the end-to-end sales process and relationships.
* Developing and delivering incremental revenue and identifying potential sales opportunities across Ireland, UK & Europe.
* Identify key competitors and carry out regular competitor analysis.
* Monthly sales reporting.
* E nsure commercial and effective yield management is applied for all sources of business and strong understanding of the same.
* Execute quarterly activity plans to create focus and adapt activity to support business needs.
Requirements:
* University degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Finance &/or Marketing.
* 15+ years' experience in closing deals in the Engineering, Pharmaceutical, Data Centre, Renewables &/or Advanced Technology markets.
* Experience bidding on multi-million Euro deals, RFI, RFP, RFQ and presenting solutions and business cases.
* Established relationships and network in the industry with a solid reputation of delivering for customers.
