WHY THIS ROLE IS VALUABLE An exciting opportunity has arisen in Ornua's sustainability team for an ESG Reporting Specialist.
The role will report to the Head of ESG Reporting, working closely with Ornua's group sustainability specialists, operational sustainability leads and business units across Ornua's global operations.
The role will coordinate Ornua's group ESG reporting requirements and specific focus on the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) implementation journey across all locations and 13 manufacturing sites globally, ensuring regulatory requirements and the group sustainability performance targets are met.
Key areas of focus will include the project coordination and sustainability engagement process across Ornua's upstream, downstream and own value chain.
This role will require continuous engagement with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure all aspects of the CSRD are implemented within the required timeframe.
KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:
Coordinate Ornua's group ESG reporting implementation plan and ensure Ornua meets regulatory requirements including publishing protocols and timelines.
Provide support for the group function through project management and data analytics skills to deliver sustainability requirements.
Engage with site leads, operations and engineering teams as well as the relevant business partners (finance, risk, legal, HR and IT) to develop and fulfill ESG reporting requirements.
Support relevant business functions in meeting CSRD reporting requirements.
Monitor any new ESG regulatory updates, drive overall performance and communicate successes internally to the business.
KEY REQUIREMENTS:
2+ years experience working in sustainability, operational excellence, engineering, finance, project and data management or similar roles.
A graduate or post graduate qualification in sustainability, finance, energy, engineering, food science, business, project and data management or related fields.
Good data management, reporting and IT skills.
Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
Good knowledge of project coordination and food manufacturing processes and systems.

CSRD is a new sustainability reporting directive and requires someone who will think ahead and look at the trends of the first wave reports and reporting tools.
Ownership:
Own and coordinate the CSRD implementation at Ornua through the ESG function.

Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to develop the material topics and data points identified at Ornua through the DMA and stakeholder engagement.
Communicative:
Effective project coordination requires timely communication on the progress of the CSRD implementation plan with relevant stakeholders, and those in the project team.
