Position: Regional EHS Manager
Location: Dublin
Company Overview: Our client is a €500m turnover, multi-disciplined main contractor operating across the UK, Ireland & Europe. They undertake large turnkey projects for blue-chip clientele, focusing on Data Centres and similar tech-focussed projects in Europe. In Ireland, they operate as a generalist main contractor across various industry sectors including healthcare, residential, education, and industrial.
Responsibilities:
1. HSE Strategy and Policy Development: Develop and implement health, safety, and environmental policies tailored to project types. Promote a culture of safety across all project sites.
2. Risk Assessment and Hazard Identification: Conduct detailed risk assessments and implement strategies to mitigate identified risks.
3. Training and Safety Programs: Develop and deliver safety training programs for all personnel, including safety induction and specific training for hazards present on projects.
4. HSE Monitoring and Compliance: Monitor compliance with HSE regulations, conduct regular site inspections, and ensure adherence to environmental standards.
5. Incident Investigation and Reporting: Investigate accidents and near-misses, implement corrective actions, and maintain accurate incident reports.
Requirements:
1. Recognised Health and Safety Degree or Diploma.
2. Professional certifications such as NEBOSH, OSHA, or equivalent.
3. At least 10 years of industry experience.
4. Previous construction experience is preferred (Pharma, Datacentre, Hi-Tech, Commercial).
Benefits: €80,000-€90,000 + Benefits
