GM for new hotel opening soon in central Dublin This new hotel opening in city centre will combine luxury, comfort and exceptional service to offer a unique experience for both business and leisure travellers.
They now seek a dynamic and experienced General Manager to oversee all aspects of the pre-opening, playing a key role in the set up and launch of the hotel, and then to continue to lead overall operations post-opening, driving guest satisfaction.
Pre-opening responsibilities: Lead the pre-opening process, coordinating with contractors, suppliers and stakeholders to ensure all timelines are met Implement required software and management solutions for effective management of the hotel Oversee the setup of all operational departments, including front desk, housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance Collaborate with the HR department to recruit, train and develop a high-performing team to deliver exceptional service from day one Establish operational procedures, service standards and health and safety protocols Collaborate with the marketing team to plan and execute the hotel's launch strategy Post-opening responsibilities: Oversee all aspects of hotel operations, including front desk, housekeeping, food and beverage, and guest services Using booking and management tools, interpret business analytics into a meaningful strategy to improve performance Develop and implement strategic plans to drive occupancy, revenue and overall guest satisfaction Lead, train and motivate the hotel team to ensure exceptional service and guest experience Manage budgets, financial reports and ensure profitability while maintaining quality standards Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and hotel policies Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and personal development Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to promote the hotel and attract new guests Build strong relationships with guests and ensure their needs are met promptly and professionally The ideal candidate: Proven experience as a Hotel Manager / General Manager or equivalent senior hospitality management role Strong leadership, communication and organizational skills Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, control costs and drive profitability A passion for delivering high-quality customer service Knowledge of hotel management software and industry best practices Ability to work under pressure and handle challenging situations Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends and holidays Hotel opening experience an advantage Benefits: Performance-based bonuses Supportive and dynamic work environment Career development opportunities in a growing company Employee discounts and further benefits If you are a proven hotel General Manager looking for the opportunity to shape the future of a new hotel in Dublin, wed love to hear from you!
