Objective of the Role
To work closely alongside and support our Night Manager with a focus on hotel and guest security, operational duties as well as maintaining the agreed standards of cleanliness throughout the hotel.
About The Role
As a Night Supervisor, you will be responsible for the Hotel operations during the night shift which runs from 11 pm to 7 am. You will be responsible for all tasks and duties during nights, ensuring that all tasks are complete to the highest standards.
Main Responsibilities
* Responsible for smooth and efficient operation of the hotel at night and to ensure the highest level of customer service
* Guest relations
* Responsible for overall health & safety at night including fire walks, security checks, and any other relevant health & safety duties e.g. first aid
* Front Office duties including running the night audit report and check-in and check-out of guests
* Supervising the Nights porter
* Food & Beverage service at night
* Ensuring meeting rooms are set to the correct standard
* Contribute to the efficient running of the hotel.
The Ideal Candidate Should Have The Following
* Previous Nights or hotel reception experience is essential
* At least 2 years experience working within a customer / guest facing position
* Good computer skills and knowledge of Opera would be an advantage
* Excellent organisational skills and the ability to oversee & delegate work to others.
* A warm, friendly and approachable personality when dealing with fellow staff and guests.
* The ability to work on their own initiative, as well as being capable of working as part of a team
Successful Candidate Must Have The Following
* Eligible to work in the UK
* Must be fluent in written and spoken English
