Responsibilities:
* Financial Accountant responsible for a portfolio of entities within the group
* Owning responsibility for completion of all month-end functions in the preparation of accurate and timely management reports
* Supporting the group reporting processes
* Coordinating and participating in the drafting of single-entity financial statements
* Participating in half-year and year-end reporting, including financial statement preparation
* Liaising with the group's internal and external auditors
* Assisting in the preparation of the annual report, coordinating responses to internal audit reviews, and maintaining the risk register
* Supporting annual and quarterly budgeting and reforecasting processes
* Partnering with departments across the business to provide informative analysis on margin, overhead, and capex variances
* Reviewing and enhancing processes to streamline financial reporting and improve controls
* Providing input into Finance-related projects, as required
Skills Required:
* Professional accounting qualification (ACA/ACCA)
* Experience in the construction industry is a bonus
* Experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV and Solver an advantage
* Able to work across several workstreams and meet strict deadlines
