Offer Description Join our dedicated team as a Consultant Anaesthetist at a leading healthcare facility in the vibrant city of Galway, Ireland.

Key Responsibilities: Provide high-quality anaesthetic care for both elective and emergency surgeries, including pre-operative assessment, intra-operative management, and post-operative care.
Supervise and mentor junior doctors, nurses, and anaesthesia technicians.
Participate in on-call rotations and ensure prompt responses to emergency situations.
Collaborate closely with surgical teams and other departments to optimise patient outcomes.
Contribute to clinical governance, audits, and quality improvement initiatives.
Engage in continuous professional development, research, and teaching opportunities.
Qualifications and Experience: Specialist registration with the Irish Medical Council (IMC).
Completion of Specialist Training in Anaesthesiology and possession of a Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) or equivalent.
A minimum of 5 years of post-registration experience in Anaesthesiology.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
A strong commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centred care.
Experience in regional anaesthesia, pain management, and intensive care is an advantage.
