Title of Position: ? Programme Executive - Single Point of Contact (SPC) ? Tenure: ? 18-month contract. ? Work Location: ? Dublin. Role Profile: ? The Programme Executive will support the Single Point of Contact (SPC) Team within the Decarbonised Heat & System Supports Department. ? This department includes the Decarbonised Heating and Cooling research function, the Single Point of Contact service for renewable energy project consenting, and the Sustainable Energy Communities, Schools, and RESS programmes. ? The SPC function arises from the EU Renewable Energy Directive II (2018) and RED III recast (2023). ? It includes a guidance function (already operational) and a monitoring function (currently being designed and built). ? The Programme Executive will assist in implementing the guidance function, reporting to the SPC Programme Manager, and contributing to the companies mission to support Ireland's energy revolution. ? Key Responsibilities: ? Assist the Programme Manager in implementing the SPC Guidance function, updating information and developing new content as needed. ? Manage the SPC contact service and provide accurate, timely information to end users. ? Enhance communications, including website updates, social media engagement, and responses to inquiries. ? Build and maintain relationships with stakeholder organizations. ? Represent the company at meetings, events, presentations, and speaking engagements. ? Collaborate with Government stakeholders to develop and promote the SPC function. ? Undertake other duties as assigned, with flexibility during activity peaks. ? Knowledge & Skills Required: ? Proven project management skills. ? Proactive approach to achieving results, including managing scope, time, risk, cost, and quality. ? Excellent management, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills. ? Strong written and oral communication skills, including public representation. ? Degree (minimum NFQ Level 7 or greater) in Engineering, Science, Environment, Sustainability, or Business. ? Minimum of three years of directly relevant experience in a related sector or similar role. ? Experience building and maintaining effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders. ? Strong written and verbal communication skills, including report writing, presenting, and public speaking. ? Proficiency in IT tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint). ? Desirable Requirements: ? Experience working in multi-disciplinary teams and managing projects with diverse stakeholders. ? Knowledge/experience of working in the Public Sector. ? Experience engaging with the Irish renewable energy consenting regime. ? Legal/regulatory experience applied to the Irish consenting regime.
