About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Associate to join our personal injury team based in HOMS Assist's Dublin office. The successful candidate will lead and manage personal injury cases, support clients, provide expert legal advice, and contribute to the growth and success of our firm.
Responsibilities:
* Case Management:
o Lead and manage a portfolio of personal injury cases from inception to resolution.
o Conduct legal research, assess case merits, and provide strategic guidance.
* Client Consultation:
o Interact directly with clients to understand their needs, provide legal advice, and manage expectations.
o Ensure effective communication throughout the legal process.

o Draft and file legal documents, pleadings, and motions.
o Collaborate with external experts and counsel when necessary.
* Supervision and Mentorship:
o Provide guidance and mentorship to junior associates and support staff.
o Foster a collaborative and supportive team environment.
* Legal Compliance:
o Stay informed about changes in personal injury law and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
* Client Development:
o Contribute to business development initiatives, including client outreach and relationship-building activities.
Requirements:
* A qualified solicitor with a minimum of 5 years of experience.
* Advantage if you have medical negligence experience.
* Proven track record of successfully managing and resolving personal injury cases.
* Excellent legal research, analytical, and negotiation skills.
* Strong leadership and interpersonal abilities.
* Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to develop and maintain excellent working relationships with clients, understanding their needs and meeting their demands.
* Highly motivated and willing to take responsibility for work requirements and client needs.
* Strong analytical skills and the ability to explain technical legal language to clients in a plain and straightforward manner.
* Sound judgement and an ability to work to deadlines while maintaining excellent attention to detail.
