Data Center Engineering Operations Technician, ARN-DCEO

We seek a Data Center Engineering Operations Technician to join our expanding Infrastructure Operations team. This is a hands-on role for troubleshooting and operating electrical and mechanical equipment in a data center environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Safety
• Maintain the highest safety standards and encourage a world-class safety culture.
2. Engineering & Facility Operations and Maintenance
• Operational experience with electrical and mechanical equipment, including Uninterruptable Power Supplies (UPS's), Switchgear, Circuit Breakers, Automatic Transfer Switches (ATS's), Diesel Generators, Chillers, Heating Ventilation Air Conditioning (HVAC), Exhaust Fans, Variable Frequency Drives (VFD's), and Transformers.
* Troubleshoot events within internal Service Level Agreements (SLA's)
* Daily operational readings of all mechanical and electrical equipment through routine rounds/log-taking (temperatures, voltages, currents, etc.)
* Supervise contractor or Engineering Operations Technicians to ensure proper operation and maintenance of all facility equipment.

Requirements:
+4 years of operational knowledge and experience with electrical and mechanical equipment. Apprentice/trades certified or diploma in an Electrical/Mechanical field or equivalent recognized training. Valid Driver's Licence. Data Center engineering experience or relevant job-related experience. Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or relevant discipline.
