My client, based in the Southeast region, has an exciting opportunity for a Group FP&A Analyst to make strategic contributions to a growing and dynamic organisation within the life sciences and medical device industry. Reporting directly to the VP of Finance, the Group FP&A Analyst will play a pivotal role within the Group Finance function.
The role involves leading financial modelling, conducting in-depth financial analysis, preparing detailed reports, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to forecast performance. The successful candidate will provide strategic insights to senior management to support critical business decisions while overseeing the Group's budgeting and financial planning processes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and maintain complex financial models to forecast revenue, expenses, profitability, and cash flow under various scenarios.
* Work closely with multiple sites and departments to develop annual budgets, track variances, and identify cost optimisation opportunities.
* Prepare regular financial reports and performance dashboards, summarising key metrics, trends, and insights for management review.
* Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess business performance, identify areas for improvement, and provide actionable insights.
* Support strategic initiatives through financial analysis, investment evaluations, and financial impact assessments of new projects.
* Gather and analyse data from various sources, utilising analytical tools to extract meaningful insights and identify trends.
* P present financial information to non-finance stakeholders, including senior management, through clear and concise analysis.
Key Requirements:
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Proficiency in financial modelling tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, or other financial modelling software).
