Job Opportunity with a Pharmaceutical Organization
We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team at a leading multinational pharmaceutical organization based in Carlow.
Duties and Responsibilities
* Ensure all Planned Maintenance and Calibration are completed according to schedule.
* Collaborate with equipment owners and other departments, particularly Quality, EHS, Technical Operations, in completion of tasks to ensure best practice outputs.
* Manage process/equipment improvements through completion of projects as required.
Main Objectives
* Maximise equipment uptime.
* Drive change through Change control system in line with deadlines.
* Provide support with audit/inspection requirements to ensure department compliance/readiness.
* Drive continuous improvement, perform root cause analysis on system failures and substandard equipment performance.
Requirements
* Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in a related Science, Engineering or other Technical discipline.
* Minimum 3 years relevant experience in maintenance engineer/engineering role within a maintenance/engineering organization of manufacturing facility (preferably GMP).
Preferred Skills
* Knowledge of regulatory/code requirements to Irish, European and International Codes, Standards and Practices.
* Knowledge of sterile filling processes and equipment.
* Autoclaves, Washers, SKIDS, Vessels knowledge is an advantage.
