Job Title: Experienced Bookkeeper
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced bookkeeper to join our team on a part-time basis (approximately 20 hours per week) in our Cork office.
About the Role:
This role offers flexibility in how these hours are worked, with the option of working 3 days or 5 mornings per week. Our ideal candidate will be able to work independently and proactively, while also being an excellent team player.
Key Responsibilities:
* Daily posting of bank transactions
* Monthly bank account reconciliations
* Coding and inputting of purchase invoices
* Bank sheet reconciliations
* Processing of general ledger journals
* Weekly Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) payments to suppliers
* Creditors reconciliations and preparation of monthly aged creditor reports
* Processing of petty cash transactions
* Assisting in the preparation of internal management reports
About You:
* Minimum 3+ years experience in Bookkeeping
* Experience working in finance within Retail is an advantage
* Excellent time management and organisational skills
* Ability to work independently and proactively
* Strong computer skills with proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
* Proven work ethic and adaptability
* Strong attention to detail
