About the role
A brief summary – Fixed Term Role
Production Resource Manager – Studio Crewing Global Events – on site
Working as part of an EMG / Gravity Media Dublin Production team.
This role is a travelling production manager position that will travel with our team of freelancers and staff per event for our client in esports.
This position will be heavily client facing and will involve overseeing technical and production support crew, cross checking travel & visa requirements with our lead Service Delivery Manager.
While this role will mainly focus on the global event staffing, there may be a need to support and manage bookings for other client projects at times.
Where this role will require constant contact with Gravity Media clients, we are looking for someone who is outgoing, can take initiative and problem solve.
Working flexible and extended hours, including evenings and weekends when required, as well as occasional on-call duties over the weekend, to meet production requirements.
This position will require a high travel flex, and a valid passport must be held for the duration of the contract.
What you'll be responsible for
Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
People Management
Manage a team of esports broadcasting professionals on assignment on global events.Oversee hiring, logistics support, deployment and management of freelance flex force on global events.Use their knowledge of resource management to improve and/or create processes on resource allocation, as well as reporting and monitoring of resource demand and supply.Monitor and manage working time for global events staff.Leading weekly status meetings to pre-empt urgent and upcoming projects.Budget Management: Manage budgets, ensuring all financial aspects are tracked and reported to the SDM.Scheduling: Create detailed schedules for rehearsals, show days and other production activities.Crew Coordination: Liaise with the production team and crew, including production & technical staff and other support personnel as required ahead of tournament and travel periods.Logistics: Cross check our teams logistical needs from pre event to post event end to end.During Production
On-Site Management: Oversee the day-to-day EMG Gravity Media team on site, ensuring everything runs according to our client needs.Problem-Solving: Address any issues that arise during production to keep everything on track and be aware of the correct escalation procedures.Quality Control: Ensure that all crew meet the required standards and be available to all stakeholders whilst on assignment.Timesheet – recording and reporting for OT and payroll functions.Wrap-Up: Oversee the wrap-up process, review the team and service with our client and offer any cost saving / resource improvements where possible.Reporting: Compile reports on the production's financial performance and operational success for the Service Delivery Manager.General Duties
