The Role & Responsibilities
This opportunity is an Audit Manager role (possibility to consider candidates for Assistant Manager or Senior Manager grades, too, depending on experience). This role is within the Financial Services team, and you will focus on clientele from asset management, leasing, pensions, and securitisations sectors. You will be actively involved in the ambitious growth plans for this team over the next 5 years.
* Manage client portfolio
* Manage & develop client relationships, act as the main point of contact during engagements
* Coordinate staff & lead your own teams
* Assist clients & more junior staff on technical auditing & accounting issues
* Liaise with and report directly to a partner or a director
* Management of the financial performance of your team
* Mentor, train, and manage more junior staff
* any other relevant responsibilities
Requirements
This role is suitable for someone, who is currently a manager, or a very experienced Assistant Manager, with a strong background in mid-top tier audit environment. You will have experience of leading & managing your teams, and working independently.
You should at least meat the following minimum criteria:
* ACCA/CA/other equivalent qualification with 3 years of experience post qualification
* Strong technical skills
* Knowledges on IFRS, ISAs, and relevant FRS
* Strong experience of FS clientele (funds, leasing, banking, other)
* Excellent leadership and management skills
* Understanding of the operational side of leading an audit team
* Excellent written & verbal English, strong communication skills
This opportunity is available for an international candidate, and visa sponsorship can be discussed. Preference will be given for persons with experience on a similar market to the Irish one.
