**Senior Contracts Manager**
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Contracts Manager to lead our Contracts Team at our Fivemiletown Head office.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the successful mobilisation of newly won contracts, maximising current contracts in terms of sales and margin, meeting contractual KPIs and SLAs, achieving and exceeding customer service and satisfaction targets, and retaining contracts.
Key Responsibilities:
* Identify opportunities for improving the method of operation in your area of responsibility.
* Implement improvements agreed with your Manager.
* Develop and implement contract management strategies/plans for each contract held, to deliver maximum sales and margin and ensure successful delivery throughout its lifetime.
* Ensure required resources and processes are in place to successfully manage all contracts.
* Mobilise new contracts to meet contractual KPIs and SLAs.
* Establish and maintain excellent customer relationships and communication with counterparts within each customer organisation.
* Negotiate and agree contract terms and conditions that protect and favour Cooneen Group at tender submission and contract commencement, and as required at other times throughout the contract's lifetime.
* Develop multi-year sales and margin forecasts for all contracts held, covering the lifespan of the contract.
* Set, agree, and achieve detailed annual sales and margin targets for all current contracts held, and ensure the flow down of sales and margin targets to each business area.
* Implement robust controls to manage raw material and finished goods stock levels to ensure minimal stock write-downs.
* Set, agree, and remain inside the overhead budget for your area.
* Manage contract management teams to ensure contract retention plans are developed and successfully implemented and contracts are retained.
* Work closely and collaboratively with all departments, particularly technical, production, and business development, to ensure contract re-wins are robustly qualified, prepared for, and resultant tender bids submitted.
* Develop, implement, and flow down any additional key metrics required to manage and improve the success of contract management teams.
* Identify marketing requirements needed to support contract retention strategies.
* Report on all the above on a regular basis to ensure sales, costs, profitability, and performance are monitored and improved.
Requirements:
* Essential Criteria:
o Demonstrable experience of a commercial role at senior or director level.
o Proven track record in developing a commercial or contract management team to consistently achieve sales, profit targets, and high levels of customer satisfaction.
o Experience in building excellent customer relationships.
o Competent in the use of MS Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
* Desirable Criteria:
o Third-level qualification.
o Experience of operating in a global business.
o Proven track record in public procurement tenders.
o Fluent in languages other than English.
o Understanding of clothing productions, ideally in the Defence, Aerospace, or Personal Protective Equipment markets.
