Safety Health & Environmental Manager
Based in Naas, this role offers a site-based opportunity with some flexibility.
We are seeking an experienced Health, Safety and Environmental professional to join our team. As part of a wider group delivering key health, safety and environment regulations for the Goodfellas brand, you will be responsible for driving EHS compliance and ensuring robust EHS programs and procedures align with customer and legal requirements.
Responsibilities:
* Lead Health, Safety & Environmental management on site and promote a H&S culture.
* Identify opportunities to improve H&S and Environmental processes and procedures for the site, reporting back to the General Manager and Supply Chain Director.
* Manage a team of SHE Officers, ensuring effective upskilling and mentoring.
* Support Clients audit programme on a cross-category basis.
* Manage Environmental budgets for the site.
* Report on accidental statistics and site performance, comparing to group standards.
* Responsible for all external stakeholders including waste management.
About You:
* You will be an expert in Health, Safety and Environmental factors, with experience in a manufacturing site, preferably food and drink or pharmaceuticals.
* Experience of Health, Safety and Environment roles within a manufacturing site is essential.
* Manufacturing experience is required, with food and drink being preferred but open to wider manufacturing sectors.
* You have managed or mentored a team within HSE and enjoy upskilling.
* IT skills are desirable, with experience of systems including SAP beneficial.
* Commercial acumen is required, as you will manage budgets and costs.
* Academic qualifications in Health, Safety and/or Environmental subjects are highly desirable.

* Salary: €70,000.00-€80,000.00 per year
* Additional pay: Yearly bonus
