Social network you want to login/join with:Client:Turner & TownsendLocation:Dublin, IrelandJob Category:OtherEU work permit required:YesJob Reference:760876e75661Job Views:2Posted:02.04.2025Expiry Date:17.05.2025Job Description:An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Cost Manager with MEP experience to join our busy Cost Management team in our Dublin office, supporting our clients deliver projects and programmes across Ireland.Preparing Mechanical/Electrical cost estimates for all asset classes, and at all levels of design, related to real estate projects.Identifying opportunities to improve cost management procedures, templates and products referring ideas to the appropriate line manager.Process improvement – Identifying and acting upon ways to improve internal systems and processes referring ideas to the appropriate line manager.Preparing Construction Cost Estimate reports at all stages of design.Managing estimating and cost planning activities to include taking ownership of and presenting the final cost plan.Ensuring that cost analysis, cost checking and valuation work is managed effectively.Participating in Value engineering, LEED analysis and Life Cycle costing.Taking a lead role in interfacing with the client and other consultants, at all project stages.Leading cost estimate production, ensuring that the team delivers on their accountabilities.Financial management – Utilizing the tools provided to keep track of the ongoing margin levels and monthly fee/resource forecasts for each commission.Ensuring that post-contract cost variances and change control processes are managed effectively.Ensuring the production of monthly post-contract cost reports and presenting them to the client.Preparation / Quantification of Cost Plan Reports including measurement of detailed quantities and unit pricing.QualificationsMore than 5 years of MEP Estimating experience.Experience in real estate MEP cost management including public and private sector projects.A recognized university degree in Construction or a related field.Membership in relevant professional organizations (i.e. RICS/SCSI).Certification or designation from a professional organization is an asset (i.e. MRICS, PQS, CCP).Right to work in Ireland.What we offer you:Full timeHybrid workingCompetitive remuneration and attractive range of benefitsPension25 days Annual leave (23 days + 2 company days)Opportunity to work on impactful and innovative projectsCareer development opportunities both in Ireland and globallyOpportunity to work with a diverse group of talented and collaborative colleaguesOur inspired people share our vision and mission.
