About Your New Job A Datacenter Technician
* The Technician will work as part of an operational team to support the Critical environment 24/7/365. There are openings for day shift roles and shift roles including nights.
* The team is responsible for the emergency response, operation of critical services within the data center environment and to stabilize emergency conditions as they arise.
* Carry out planned maintenance of systems and services.
* Reactive repairs to ensure minimum downtime on plant and equipment on site.
* Previous experience with fault finding and corrective maintenance in plant equipment.
* Ensuring a high standard of health and safety awareness before, during and after works are complete.
What Skills You Need For Your New Job As A Datacenter Technician
* A relevant trade certification is a minimum for this job – preferably in an electrical or mechanical discipline.
* A strong understanding and experience of the electrical and mechanical systems used in a data center.
* Experience of PLCS would be beneficial for this position.
