This unique role plays a pivotal role in maturing their established Security Champion program and fostering a security-focused development culture across all teams.

Your daily responsibilities will be:
4. Elevate the companu’s Security Champion program to a new level of effectiveness. This includes identifying best practices, developing training materials, and building a strong champion network.
5. Work closely with security engineers, developers, and program managers to identify security trends, analyze security feedback loops, and map vulnerabilities.
6. Serve as a trusted advisor, providing clear and concise security guidance to developers and program managers at all levels.
7. Continuously improve security processes, including handling security tickets, managing security reviews, and facilitating process improvement initiatives.
8. Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) Security Expert: Support security due diligence during mergers and acquisitions.
The Ideal Candidate:
9. Proven track record in program management, ideally in a large, complex organization.
10. Strong understanding of security principles and software development lifecycle (SDLC).
11. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
12. Experience working cross-functionally and building strong relationships across teams.
13. Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate others.
14. Experience with security automation tools (a plus).
15. While experience with Python scripting would be a bonus, strong program management experience is the primary focus for this role.
