Role
This is a Client Implementation Manager role within the Client Implementation Group. This role, which can be based in London or Limerick, is focused on the onboarding of strategic clients who are launching pooled funds with a focus primarily on Tax Transparent funds and Funds that follow LTAF regulations. Other fund types are also covered when requested.
The candidate should be able to provide comprehensive and extensive project management support to stakeholders in defining and executing the programme. The candidate should be able to identify and understand the stakeholders’ and client’s needs and assess the risk, assumptions and constraints. This will be a client-facing role with the candidate expected to build up productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
The candidate should be confident, well-presented, and an agent of change. Prior experience of fund launches is ideal.
Key Responsibilities
1. Developing the fund launch project plan, identifying and scheduling project activities, managing meetings, as well as creating and maintaining other relevant project governance documents.
2. Oversees all identified work streams.
3. Provides comprehensive and extensive implementation support to manage the establishment of the required operational model.
4. Ensures that all work in the plan is completed timely to accomplish the project objectives and launch funds within the clients' expected time frames.
5. Responsible for monitoring and controlling the work by comparing actual performance with planned performance. Responsible for analysing variances, assessing any trends that can affect progress, evaluating possible alternatives, and implementing appropriate corrective action(s) as needed.
6. Responsible for communication, leadership, and management to effectively exchange accurate and relevant information with all project team members.
7. Responsible for providing guidance and motivation to team members and project stakeholders and ensuring resources are achieving project objectives.
8. Provides project stakeholders and management with status updates, and timely escalation of issues and delays to timelines.
Skills / Experience
1. Previous experience of fund launches would be advantageous.
2. Experience of fund accounting, transfer agency, custody and tax process or a subset thereof would be beneficial.
3. Experience of Client Implementation and onboarding.
4. Multi-disciplinary expert with Project Management knowledge.
5. Displays an appropriate sense of urgency with the ability to effectively prioritise workload under pressure.
6. Highly flexible and adaptable to change.
7. Knowledge in developing standards or best practices.
8. Skills in translating broad strategic intent into tactical plans and directions.
9. Excellent organizational and analytical skills are required.
10. Requires excellent leadership skills and communication skills (both written and oral).
11. Requires a college or university degree and/or relevant work experience, excellent organizational and leadership skills in project management that provides knowledge to the functional business.
12. Demonstrates excellent experience in change initiatives, covering such areas as operations, IT and product development; with a track record of accomplishment in large, complex projects and change initiatives.
