Job Description
The Commercial Construction Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the entire scope of work, including plans, specifications, logistics, materials, equipment, submittal and other requirements. Key responsibilities include:
* Developing a thorough understanding of project details.
* Coordinating subcontractors and managing on-site production.
* Maintaining a three-week look-ahead schedule and submitting weekly reports to the Project Manager or Prime contractor.
* Facilitating the company safety program, including job site safety inspections and weekly safety meetings.
* Managing quality control by confirming that all installed equipment and materials match submitted specifications.
Responsibilities Include:
* Project planning and coordination.
* Site management and supervision.
* Safety program implementation and monitoring.
* Quality control and assurance.
Requirements:
* A minimum of 5 years of experience in construction project management, with ground-up experience preferred.
* Working knowledge of skilled trades, including carpentry, masonry, concrete work, site excavation and grading, plumbing, fire protection, HVAC, and electrical.
* Proficiency in construction technology and details, including reviewing and understanding specifications and drawings.
* Excellent communication skills with various parties, including management, subcontractors, consultants, architects, vendors, and clients.
