You will drive the day-to-day execution of Microsoft's strategic business priorities – selling best-in-class cloud services and platforms to our managed customers and build digital transformation momentum for our customers, partners, and Microsoft. Your exceptional sales skills, deep understanding of enterprise needs, and ability to build strong customer relationships will be instrumental in achieving sales targets and driving customer success.
The role of a Digital Solution Specialist - Business Applications involves various responsibilities, including managing and executing sales plans, coordinating extended teams to drive sales strategy, and optimizing upsell/cross-sell opportunities.
Qualifications
Required/Minimum Qualifications
* Extensive technology-related sales or account management experience
* OR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field AND extensive sales or account management experience.
* Deep experience in business applications solutions including ERP, CRM, and Low Code solutions
* Fluency in Italian is essential
Additional or Preferred Qualifications
* Solution or services sales experience
Responsibilities
* Brings impactful industry insights into customer engagements and closes deals with customers. Acts as a thought leader across solution areas to advise customers across business functions on digital transformation. Leads virtual transformational shifts to drive deployment and create business value for customers.
* Orchestrates with team members on conducting personal campaigns to discover new opportunities and generate new leads. Leads conversations with strategic/high-potential customers along with account teams or partners.
* Drives consumption and grows business with existing strategic customers by initiating conversations and guiding others on demos or quotes.
* Explores and assesses the needs of strategic/high-potential customers. Articulates business value and long-term implications for customer business.
* Proactively builds and governs external stakeholder network and leverages internal partners to engage external stakeholders.
* Develops strategies for driving and closing strategic and/or prioritized opportunities.
