Job Description & Skills Required
We are seeking a skilled and experienced HGV Mechanic to join our team in Ireland. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out periodic checks, CVRT preparation, and general repairs and maintenance on commercial vehicles.
Responsibilities:
* Conduct periodic checks and inspections on commercial vehicles.
* Prepare vehicles for CVRT (Commercial Vehicle Roadworthiness Test).
* Perform general repairs and maintenance tasks.
* Demonstrate competence in all areas of HGV repairs, inspections, and maintenance.
* Utilise a good working knowledge of vehicle diagnostics, hydraulics, and electrics.
About You:
* Proven experience as an HGV Technician, with a focus on heavy commercial vehicles.
* Competence in all aspects of HGV repairs, inspections, and maintenance.
* Proficiency in vehicle diagnostics, hydraulics, and electrics.
* Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
