Salary: Starting from: €79,086 Application Method: GetGot Application form only - Business Service Manager (Assistant Principal) Garda Occupational Health Service (GOHS) As part of our ongoing transformation programme and in response to the expansion of our services to support the health and wellbeing of approximately 18,000 Garda personnel, we have a new Business Service Manager position at AP Grade available in the Garda Occupational Health Service (GOHS). The Role The GOHS Business Services Manager in An Garda Sochna will be tasked with further developing, implementing, managing and monitoring the business administration function of the Occupational Health Service. Principal Duties and Responsibilities ???????Take charge of the business administration function of the Occupational Health Service, under the direction of the CMO, including Regional Occupational Health Hubs. Provide decisive, effective administrative leadership and direction for management and staff attached to the Occupational Health Service, including Regional Health Hubs. Drive and continuously improve data and information management processes. Review of existing operations processes and business processes to identify areas for improvement and/or training to deliver a best in class service. Develop the Business Plan of the Service to expand the range of services and supports for delivery to a projected 21,000 employees. Manage the Services' allocated budget in accordance with Garda financial management protocols and to ensure best value for public money. Actively plan and manage resource allocation, ensuring the timely achievement of the Services' goals and priorities. Lead and manage a team and establish close working relationships with colleagues right across the service, including clinical professionals, regional teams and business service functions (BSF) Manage a number of clinical specialist contract resources and service team members across a range of projects and programmes, including modernisation of Occupational Health Services, across all divisional business services functions and mapping the journeys of users of the service. Design and lead the implementation of a customer service action plan to ensure GOHS becomes a Centre of Excellence for the delivery of Occupational Health and Wellbeing.??????? Develop mechanisms to monitor and report on customer satisfaction across the service, and use this information to generate insights and future service improvement initiatives. Engage with Occupational Health Networks and public sector wide groups. Work in collaboration with teams such as HRPD, Health and Safety and ICT to better integrate OH services into existing business processes. Working with the full GOHS team, provide guidance and support to all areas of An Garda Sochna on enhancing the service through a range of channels, including by bringing a focus to the service and supports to all Garda personnel. Supporting the implementation of the Health and Wellbeing Strategy, including through applying service design methods to enhance innovation projects and supporting GOHS in developing its approach to innovation.
