EHSS Engineer II
Supports systems and drives execution of programs to maintain a safe work place and ensure compliance with EHSS regulations.
Accountabilities & Responsibilities:
* Adheres to Integer Values and all safety, environmental, security and quality requirements.
* Employs knowledge of EHSS practices and programs in a manufacturing environment.
* Partners with site leadership to implement site specific EHSS strategy and programs.
* Harmonizes site efforts and cross-functional EHSS teams to improve the work environment.
* Maintains records, permits, and reports according to established guidelines.
* Trains Associates on company policies, procedures, and regulations.
* Identifies hazardous workplace conditions and coordinates corrective actions.
* Responds to Associate concerns and investigates work-related injuries.
* Reviews and audits efforts in attaining EHSS compliance.
* Interacts with government agencies and emergency responders to support EHSS compliance.
Education & Experience:
* Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in EHS, Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Engineering, Science or other EHS field.
* Minimum Experience: 1-3 years' experience in a manufacturing environment.
Knowledge & Skills:
* Special Skills: Attention to detail, well-organized, problem-solving abilities.
* Specialized Knowledge: Knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations regarding safety, environmental protection and hazardous materials transportation.
