They are looking for an experienced and passionate Senior Physiotherapist specialising in paediatrics to join their dynamic team in South Dublin. Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide specialized physiotherapy assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for paediatric patients with a range of physical conditions and developmental needs.
2. Develop and implement individualized care plans, including exercise, manual therapy, and functional rehabilitation.
3. Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team including doctors, nurses, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
4. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior physiotherapists and assist in professional development initiatives.
5. Educate families and caregivers on best practices for managing paediatric conditions at home and in everyday life.
6. Participate in clinical audits, research, and quality improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery.
7. Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in paediatric physiotherapy and integrate evidence-based practices into care.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physiotherapy (or equivalent qualification).
2. CORU registration
3. Minimum of 5 years of experience in paediatric physiotherapy, with at least 2 years in a senior or supervisory role.
4. Strong knowledge of paediatric conditions such as cerebral palsy, developmental delays, and muscular dystrophy.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with children, families, and the healthcare team.
6. Ability to lead, mentor, and support a team of physiotherapists.
7. Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care.
