Banking and Property Finance Solicitor Dublin 2 Firm Profile We are currently seeking to recruit a Banking & Property Finance Solicitor to join the Banking Department of this mid-tier Dublin 2 law firm.
This is a great opportunity to work in a progressive and dynamic professional banking team with 2 Partners and an organisation with 40 members of staff.
The role will involve working with a client base comprised of pillar banks, alternative lenders and also borrowers in different lending sectors.
The role would require the successful candidate to:
Take ownership of matters delegated to him/her to bring them from beginning to end; Work as part of a larger team where the mandate requires it; Work closely with other team members in terms of business strategy implementation and growth; Carry out property investigations and lease reviews and advise Lenders on same; Advise banks/borrowers in relation to secured/unsecured bilateral and syndicated loans; Perform other ad-hoc banking & property finance work as required within the Department.
Required Experience: Excellent academic record; Good exposure to commercial and residential conveyancing during traineeship and since being qualified; Previous exposure to banking transactions is preferable but not essential and has a willingness to learn such banking transactions; Experience in commercial property transactions; Ability to work on own initiative but also as part of a team; Commercial acumen and excellent analytical skills; A sociable person, capable of communicating at all levels with an ability to communicate points clearly in a non-confrontational manner; A calm and measured approach to problem solving; A willingness to work hard above and beyond normal office hours if required.
The Candidate: Ideal candidate will be 1 - 3 years qualified, with work experience in the relevant areas.
