Job Title: Project Manager
Description:
The company, a leading figure in specialist building and construction solutions based in County Tipperary, seeks a skilled Project Manager to oversee the planning and successful delivery of contracts.
This role requires building and maintaining good working relationships between the company, clients, suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors. The ideal candidate must be calm under pressure, organised, and methodical with a consistent approach to workload.
Key Responsibilities:
* Chair regular meetings with project teams to ensure progress aligns with planned programme.
* Provide timely reporting on project progress and advise on any variance and reasons for variance.
* In conjunction with the Head of Contracts, ensure all financial information is accurate and on time.
* Attend sub-contractor and client meetings to establish and maintain positive working relationships.
* Develop and adhere to detailed on and off-site programmes for assigned projects.
* Pre-plan material, manning, and equipment levels required to achieve site programme.
* Provide technical support at tender stage when applicable.
* Take responsibility for the successful completion of assigned projects.
* Lead design management and review on design and build projects where applicable.
Requirements:
* Bachelor Degree.
* Experience in similar role and industry.
* Full clean driving licence for Ireland.
* Proficiency in Microsoft packages including Word and Teams.
* Strong ability to read and understand technical drawings.
* Basic understanding of construction contractual terms.
* Ability to take initiative and solve problems with strong communication skills.
* Excellent client and project management skills.
* Ability to motivate and empower others.
* Financial awareness and cost control skills.
* Ability to work in high-pressured environments.
