We're looking for a Software Development Manager to lead our Delivery Experience Expansion team.

Responsibilities: You will be in charge of the complete software development life-cycle; defining, prioritizing, designing, building, and testing new features.You will get the opportunity to work closely with a great team of software developers.You will understand what it takes to grow and operate Amazon business at our scale.Software Development Manager to be based in our European Headquarters in Luxembourg.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONSKnowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software/hardware/networks development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, certification, and livesite operations.Experience designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems.Experience in leading the definition and development of multi-tier web services.Experience partnering with product and program management teams.Minimum 8 years of experience as software engineer and additional 5 years of experience as engineering manager.Bachelors/Masters in Computers/IT/related fields.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSExperience in communicating with users, other technical teams, and senior leadership to collect requirements, describe software product features, technical designs, and product strategy.Experience in recruiting, hiring, mentoring/coaching and managing teams of Software Engineers to improve their skills and make them more effective.Amazon is an equal opportunities employer.
