Responsibilities
To manage and coordinate Streetworks activities, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, regulations, and codes of practice. This role involves handling permit applications, liaising with stakeholders in Entegro Project teams, Local Council, on site personnel, and maintaining accurate records to support the efficient delivery of Streetworks projects.
* Prepare and submit permit applications in accordance with the New Roads and Street Works Act (NRSWA) and Traffic Management Act (TMA).
* Monitor and track permit applications, ensuring timely approvals and renewals.
* Manage permit modifications and variations as required.
* Ensure all Streetworks activities comply with NRSWA, TMA, and other relevant regulations.
* Coordinate with local authorities, utility companies, and contractors to plan and schedule works.
* Manage Streetworks notices and respond to inspection requests and notices of non-compliance.
* Act as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders regarding Streetworks activities.
* Provide regular updates on the status of Streetworks projects to relevant parties. Attend internal and external meetings as required.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all Streetworks activities.
* Prepare reports on Streetworks performance, compliance, and issues.
* Assist in the preparation of data for audits and inspections.
* Utilize Streetworks management systems and software to log and track works. (Aurora)
* Ensure all data entered into systems is accurate and up-to-date.
* Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and compliance.
* Support the implementation of health and safety policies and procedures related to Streetworks.
Skills required
* Essential:
* Strong understanding of NRSWA, TMA, and related legislation.
* Experience in a similar role, preferably within the utilities or construction sector.
* Proficiency in using Streetworks management software and systems.
* Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Desirable:
* NRSWA Coordination Accreditation.
* Knowledge of Geographic Information Systems (GIS).
* Experience in dealing with local authorities and regulatory bodies.
