Our client, a Public Sector body, is seeking an experienced Transport & Logistics Project Manager to lead the design and implementation of an effective transport plan for the region.
Main Areas of Responsibility:
* Lead on Stage 2 to design, trial, and prepare for tender, ensuring all operations align with project objectives, standards, and requirements.
* Establish and lead a Stakeholder Consortium to ensure decisions made throughout the project are aligned to project scope and objectives.
* Develop a Service Specification Framework defining clear criteria and standards for transport access and compliance, including resource management, safety, reliability, cost-effectiveness, and transparency.
* Leverage technology experts to trial advanced route optimisation technology, improving scheduling, reducing inefficiencies, and maximising resource allocation as part of tender preparation.
* Collaborate with Section 38/39 Agencies to consolidate resources under a unified framework, evaluate the existing fleet, and develop a replacement programme that meets health, safety, and accessibility standards.
